  • You are working in the correct facility (transfer cars and destinations are listed for a facility).
  • Your role includes access to the Transfer Car Request screen.

LESSON OUTLINE

Concept

  • The Transfer Car Request screen creates a request to move a Receiving Transfer Car to a Manual Bay destination.
  • The destinations available are constrained by the selected transfer car.

Request a Transfer Car

  1. From the Scanner App Main Menu, open Transfer Car Request.
  2. Populate Transfer Car using one of the following methods:
    • Select a transfer car from the dropdown, or
    • Select the Barcode button to scan a transfer car barcode and populate the field.
  3. Populate Destination:
    • Select a destination from the dropdown.
    • If only one destination is available for the selected transfer car, Destination is read-only.
  4. Confirm the result:
    • On success, expect a confirmation popup: “Transfer Car request has been created.

Safe edits

  • If you entered the wrong values, correct them directly and re-submit.
  • If you need to restart from a clean state:
    1. Select Clear.
    2. Confirm the prompt to clear all inputs.

Verification

  • Navigate to Transfer Car Request from the Main Menu Grid or Menu Drawer.
  • Select a Transfer Car and confirm the Destination options populate based on that transfer car.
  • Submit and confirm the success popup: “Transfer Car request has been created.”
  • If you intentionally omit a required field, confirm you receive the expected prompt and that inputs are maintained.
